After revealing iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus, Apple has launched the new iPhone X (read iPhone 10). It comes with the new edge to edge display. There’s glass in front and back. The body is with the surgical grade stainless steel.
IT’S OFFICIAL: This is the iPhone X
iPhone X’s new super retina display uses OLED display technology. Its other specifications are 5.8″ and 458 ppi. The other features are HDR display, Dolby vision, million to one contrast ratio, 3D Touch right in the screen, True Tone display, etc.
Tap to Wake (Raise to Wake); there is no more home button in iPhone X. You simply need to swipe up from bottom to move on the home screen. In case you are running an app, the same gesture will work there too.
To launch Siri, apart from calling her, you need to press the side button. But, how do you unlock the iPhone?
Now you can unlock the iPhone using Face ID–simply look at the phone, and it’ll unlock. Face ID works with the help of the true-depth camera system which is made up of tons of sensors. It’s powered by Apple’s first ever neural engine.

There’s brand new Animoji right in Apple Messages, which looks utterly hilarious and fun.
iPhone X has a dual 12MP camera with dual optical image stabilization and better low-light zoom. There is a better Quad-LED True Tone Flash and 2x better light uniformity.

- The iPhone X is equipped with an A11 chip with a special part of it called “neural engine” to run machine learning and AI software.
- FaceID works with hats, glasses, and makeup.
- Apple says that there’s only a 1 in 1 million chance that a random person can defeat FaceID.
- The iPhone X also has emojis you control with your face and the iPhone X front-facing camera. Apple calls them “Animo JIS.”
- The 3D camera will also supercharge apps like Snapchat.
The iPhone X has wireless charging, but Apple’s charger won’t ship until next year. Until then, you can use compatible third-party chargers.
“No other device in our lifetimes has had the impact on the world that the iPhone has,” Apple CEO Tim Cook said.
“Our intention with iPhone has always been to create something so compelling and so immersive that the hardware virtually disappears,” he continued.
Apple also launched two other iPhones on Tuesday, called the iPhone 8 and the iPhone 8 Plus.

The Price of iPhone X in Pakistan is to be Rs. 110,000 as it costs $999 in the United States.
