Test Apps before Installing with Google’s Instant Apps Feature

Last year, during the annual I/O developer’s conference, Google had made one of the most interesting announcements about Instant Apps feature, which permits users to operate few or more android applications which are not presently installed on their smartphones.
Instant Apps are similar to the smaller version of Android applications which run spontaneously whenever you tap them or their URL, no installation processes are to be carried out to open them.
When you will close these apps, the apps will quickly disappear from your phone along with an icon of the app, however, you can use it again within few hours after closing apps, only you need is to click the app again from your cache.
Apparently, the company is testing few Instant Apps before making them available to the public. The company is currently busy in getting feedback from users on the assortment of applications from the likes of Buzzfeed, Wish, Periscope, and Viki.
Aurash Mahbod, Google Play Software’ engineer says in a blog post:
“By collecting user feedback and iterating on the product, we’ll be able to expand the experience to more apps and more users,”
Instant Apps are very useful and helpful only for those applications which you want to use for once, such as transit apps for cities you are only visiting once.
Rather than, downloading apps and deleting them, you can simply use their functionality without downloading them or visit Play Store. It will also help users to know about the particular application without installing then on their smartphones.
Apparently, we don’t have any clue when this feature is gong to be released and we don’t have any information that how the company is going to test the feature. However, the company did say that SDK will be available in next few month/s.
